To maintain fit our birds, an equilibrated and healthy nutrition is joined with the correct supplement of vitamins.

During breeding period, for example, to favor the fertility it’s usually advised E vitamin. During the reproduction phase, instead, as in the moulting and resting period multivitamins and calcium become very important to grant the animal’s wellness. Depending on the phase it’s living you need to feed him mineral salts, fundamental for the feathering and bones strengthening. 

Vitamins, and birds’ supplements as well, are veterinarian products studied to grant the correct developing of our volatiles, to make them stay fit, increasing their strength and providing a help when they fall sick.

It is known that parrots are splendid animals and are also very talkative. This kind of pet is raised on a stick, for this reason it may be appropriate to provide them some games to make the time pass. 

On the market there are many games to hang on the bird cage: from the stepladder to the swings, from the mirrors to the rope rings, sound games and colored chains. That’s a wide choice, for someone who looks to buy parrots’ toys. According to its character choose the game which fits the most, with time you’ll eventually get to know which one it prefers. Always choose high quality non-toxic materials, may them come from a trusted shop or from an online store, that is for your pet’s sake.

The goldfish is the dream of every child. It’s a water fish we’re used to see in our houses because it’s a pet which necessitates few attentions.

But be careful, it’s important to think about a few simple rules to grant our goldfishes the longest lifespan. 

The elements to be wary of are three: the fish tank, company and nutrition.

Even if it doesn’t seem, our fish needs wide spaces to swim, it’s important that the fish tank contains at least 30 lt of water. The water’s temperature must stay between 18°C and 24°C and the water must be constantly cleaned through a filter placed in it.

The second element is the company: goldfishes are very sociable, it would be better to buy them in pair, preventing them to get bored afterwards. If you decide to buy two fishes our advice is to place them in a fish tank which can contain 100-120 liters.

Lastly, be careful about the feed you provide to your little friends: buy it in an pet shop paying attention to the protein supplement and don’t feed them more than once a day.

The land tortoises can be raised outdoors, in fenced areas or indoors. If you’ve decided to raise an indoor turtle some matters must be considered.

Turtles live inside terrariums, often composed by a medium sized wooden house: usually the standard measures are 60cm x 120cm. with walls 35cm high, to prevent them to escape.

In the terrarium always insert some shelters, so if they wanted to isolate themselves, they could do it without any difficulty. It’s important that terrariums are also enlightened and heated in the appropriate way, according to day-night and seasonal cycles. At last don’t forget to place a low water basin inside it.
